Juicy, flavorful, and totally fuss-free — this air fryer chicken breast gets a punchy upgrade from bold whole grain mustard. It’s the kind of weeknight winner you’ll make on repeat.


Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (68 oz each, pounded slightly if thick)
2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced (or ½ teaspoon garlic powder)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Optional: chopped parsley or a squeeze of lemon juice for serving


Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the whole grain mustard, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Pat chicken breasts dry and rub the mustard mixture all over them. Let marinate for 15–30 minutes if you’ve got the time.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.

  • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, leaving space between. Cook for 16–18 minutes, flipping halfway through. Chicken is done when internal temp hits 165°F.

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with parsley or lemon juice if you like.
